Graphics system for bite-sized history videos

 

TV’s most-watched documentary history series, American Experience, is reaching out to younger and more diverse audiences through short videos on new platforms.

The team needed a system of bold graphics to help videos stand out on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, while visually connecting with the American Experience brand. I created lower thirds, title slides, an end card, and backgrounds for the host, historical footage, and interviews. These graphics were animated and put to use in subsequent American Experience short videos.
